Synonyms: Steniridia andrewsi montana Valentine, 1935
Biology:
Macrohabitat: Midlands to uplands, 1060-1530 meters altitude, in mixed forests on slopes and in ravines with a dense growth of eastern hemlock, rhododendron and mountain laurel. Microhabitat: on shaded moist somewhat rocky ground. Dispersal abilites: brachypterous, hence flightless, thus vagility is limited to walking or running. Seasonal occurance: Adults have been found in May-June, and August-September. Behavior: Nocturnal, taking cover in the day under loose tree bark of fallen trees.
