Biology:
Macrohabitat: Midlands to uplands, 1219 – 1524 meters altitude in lower
montane wet forest along intermittent streams. Microhabitat: Adults are ground-dwelling
on moist substrate. Dispersal abilities: Brachypterous, hence flightless therefore vagility limited
to walking or running; slow runners; strong burrowers. Seasonal occurrence: Adults have been found in March, September, and December; teneral adults in March. Behavior: Adults are nocturnal, predaceous, halobiont hygrophiles and take cover under rotten wood
during the day.
