Biology:
Macrohabitat: Midlands, 549 – 1006 meters altitude, in montane cloud forest,
lower montane wet forest, and lower montane rain forest. Microhabitat: Adults are grounddwelling
on the forest floor. Dispersal abilities: Brachypterous, hence flightless therefore
vagility limited to walking or running; slow runners, strong burrowers. Seasonal occurrence:
Adults have been found in January and May. Behavior: Nocturnal; the humicolous,
halophobic hygrobiont adults seek cover in decaying logs and under stones during the day.
