Macrohabitat: Lowlands, 3-110 meters altitude, on hills and brush covered plains, in cultivated land (e.g. cotton fields) and in sandy areas between the coast and oak-covered foothills in Colombia. Microhabitat: On partly shaded sandy ground. Dispersal abilities: Macropterous, probably capable of flight. Seasonal occurrence: Adults have been found in January- April and November- December.
