Locality: Native, New World. Brazil; Bolivia; Chile; Colombia; Ecuador; Paraguay; Peru; Uruguay

Biology:
Macrohabitat: Lowlands, sea level- 46 meters altitude, in grasslands, praries, and savannas. Microhabitat: On the ground amongst herbaceous vegetation in brushy thickets. Dispersal abilities: Macropterous, probably capable of flight. Seasonal occurrence: Adults have been found in January-April, August, and October. Behavior: In Brazil, preying on "armyworm, Lep."
