Biology:
Macrohabitat: Midlands, 1240 meters altitude, at a semiarid desert oasis and
home of the endangered Owens Valley pupfish, Cyprinodon radiosus (Soltz & Naiman). Microhabitat:
Adults are ground-dwelling on volcanic substrates. Dispersal abilities: Macropterous,
probably capable of flight; slow runners, strong burrowers. Seasonal occurrence:
Adults have been found in July. Behavior: Adults overwinter in the substrate.
