Biology:
Macrohabitat: Lowlands to mountains, 202 – 2500 meters altitude. Microhabitat:
Adults are ground-dwelling on heavily alkaline substrates encrusted with salt. Dispersal
abilities: Macropterous, capable of flight; slow runners, strong burrowers. Seasonal
occurrence: Adults have been found in January – February, April – May, and October –
December. Behavior: Adults are attracted to lights at night. Adults aestivate during the dry
season in the substrate.
