Biology:
Macrohabitat: Midlands, 975 – 1051 meters altitude, in dwarf montane cloud
forest, lower montane wet forest, and lower montane rain forest. Microhabitat: Adults are
ground-dwelling on the forest floor. Dispersal abilities: Brachypterous, hence flightless
therefore vagility limited to walking or running; slow runners, strong burrowers. Seasonal
occurrence: Adults have been found in February, and May – June. Behavior: Nocturnal; the
humicolous, halophobic hygrobiont adults seek cover under stones during the day.
