Biology:
Macrohabitat: Lowlands, sea level – 132 meters altitude, on lake shores and
pond edges. Microhabitat: Adults are ground-dwelling on the shores of ponds and small lakes.
Dispersal abilities: Macropterous, probably capable of flight; swift runners. Seasonal occurrence:
Adults have been found in June – August; teneral adults in August; spring breeders.
Behavior: Adults are diurnal, predaceous, and take cover during the day under shoreline debris.
