Locality: Native, New World. Canada- AB, BC.
Common Name: Schwarz's Gazelle Beetle
Synonyms: Nebria Schwarzi Van Dyke, 1925
Biology:
Macrohabitat: Midlands, 1100-1430 meters altitude. Microhabitat: Along stream margins on wet, bare, coarse sand. Dispersal abilities: Macropterous, probably capable of flight. Seasonal occurrence: Adults have been found in June- October. Behavior: Adults are nocturnal, carnivorous; taking cover in the day under stones. Adults hibernate.
