Locality: Native, New World. Brazil- Mato Grosso.
Common Name: Wingless Metallic Tiger Beetle

Biology:
Macrohabitat: 558-900 meters altitude, in moist grasslands. Microhabitat: Adults are ground-dwelling on drier grassy substrate. Dispersal abilities: Brachypterous, hence flightless thus vagility limited to walking or running; swift runners. Seasonal occurrence: Adults are active in October- December, and January- February.
